Not in Kansas anymore…
…or even Chicago! Here are some pics I’ve taken in Colorado.
The camper trailer belongs to my brother’s fiancé’s dad. It’s kind of absurd inside, basically being a small (nice!) apartment on wheels. We went to it last night for a little BBQ, where there were hummingbirds!!!
The video is kind of shitty quality, which is a shame. But you can hear their silly-sounding chirpings, and hopefully when the video is done being analyzed and processed by YouTube you’ll be able to see the actual hummingbirds…

Well, darn it! I’m in Chicago, en route from Cambodia to Buenos Aires, and was gonna ask if you wanted to get coffee. (No pressure.) Um, email me if you’re back on Monday?
Sad! I’ll be back on Monday, but I have nooooo time – last day of work, and then rehearse, rehearse, rehearse.
Durango is pretty. A little touristy, but that’s not really a problem when you’re a tourist.
The road north of there, up to Ouray, is spectacular (and Ouray is a very beautiful town, too). But sadly it’s definitely not a road for a camper like the one in your picture. I suspect you could fit half of Ouray in that thing.
Enjoy the mountains. They really are lovely.
I feel like Fort Louis College balances out the touristy.
I haven’t been to Ouray, but maybe I’ll try to check it out the next time I’m in town.
