More piercings!
I’m not usually a huge fan of self-indulgent self photographs (as if there’s any othe3r kind) but I just got two new studs – one in each earlobe – and wanted to share. Enjoy!

I’ve been wanting to move away from my iWeb-designed artist site, www.rebeccakling.com, for a while. It absolutely has served its purpose of getting me a solid online presence, but it looks very iWeb-y and means I have to work within the constraints of that software. For the past week or so, I’ve been setting up this replacement site, using WordPress as a content management system. (It’s called ‘sandbox’ so that I can tell the difference between the two sites in my open tabs. I’d remove ‘sandbox’ when I actually switch to using the site.) WordPress comes with its own pros and cons, but it gives me a lot more design flexibility, tons of event and mailing list and video and photo plugins, as well as the ability to edit the site when I’m away from my primary computer.
I haven’t quite transferred 100% of the pages over, but it’s pretty close to done. I’d love people’s thoughts on what works and what doesn’t, and what they think.
