Death by Blogging
Inspired by a game I led at class today…
- Death by the deliciousness of a delicious cupcake
- Death by the desire to be called on in class
- Death by being crushed by cotton balls
- Death by miming
- Death by procrastination
- Death by crippling embarrassment
- Death by too much fun
- Death by enlightenment
Death by endless laughter.
Death by aggravation from a comment thread at Feministing.
Death by wet hair on a winter morning in Minnesota.
Death by too many episodes of Star Gate SG-1.
Death by a thousand butterfly sneezes.
Death by too much Mountain Dew and Irish breakfast tea.
Death by a thousand paper cuts and a 32oz bottle of lemon juice.
Death by a peanut butter covered jumpsuit in a park full of squirrels.
Oof. Number 3 is fighting dirty. And number 4 is just impossible.
Oh, number 3 is a reminder to myself to ALWAYS DRY THE HAIR before leaving the building.
I love Star Gate, too, but sometimes I over do it. Hulu shall be my downfall.
How about death by Red Bull with a Wellbutrin and Ritalin chaser
Hahahahaha!
Death by homosexual marriage legalization.
Because somehow this will happen, and the conservatives just know it.
Though it always reminds me of and argument saying it’ll hurt small businesses, then California banning it and only then going bankrupt.
So, that last one is “Death by Irony.”
How about death by the House passing public healthcare?!?” I sort of can’t believe it! I know the anti-abortion amendment passed, so I know we’re not living in a totally bizaro world, but still!
I keep waiting for a hidden clause specifying mandatory denial hormone payments, or a requirement that trans people need to be fired out of a cannon into the sun.
I remember the “Death Panels.”
With Simon it would be impossible for anyone to get treatment.
The anti-abortion part I can side with, but if something as useless a Ritalin (sp?) can be paid for with this sort of bill, why prohibit something that people actually need due to a birth deficiency?
:O
I need my Ritalin/Legal meth
No what is sad about American Health Care is that it is easier to get said Ritalin/legal meth then it is to get simple birth control.
But Rebecca when I saw the final vote I was like you for a second and thought I was living in a bizaro version America
I’d agree with John that Ritalin can have valid uses, under the supervision of a competent doctor.
And I guess Kei and I will need to agree to disagree about the public-funding ban on abortion.
The abortion language will not be in the final bill. Look at it as a poison pill.(Pun intended) With leadership with no spine who the hell knows how this will end. But with all of that said. For the 1st time in 44 years a major health care bill passed a house of congress. One more thing I found this on daily kos.
